SOUTHERN ALBERTA FOOTHILLS ARCHERY HUNTS

Hunt whitetail deer with Trophy Hunters Alberta offering archery whitetail deer hunts northwest of Calgary ( WMU 314), in the prairie zones of Southern Alberta (WMUs 104, 106, 108,& 110) along the Montana border and in the foothills zones (WMUs 306 , and 400) in the southwest corner of Alberta in the shadow of the Canadian Rocky mountains. 'These very productive hunts occur from early September through to October 31. Accommodation is typically at a working ranches and various B&Bs and small town hotels in SW Alberta.

Brett Lucas, Wes Comstock, Dennis Hooey, Matthew Beckman, and Dale & Devon Vadnais, all experienced bow hunters, guide our whitetail archery hunts.

Tim Wells bow hunted whitetail on these hunts for three years in a row and has harvested 3 P&Y whitetails including his 195 P&Y whitetail harvested with Trophy Hunters Alberta in October, 2001. Tim also harvested another "Largest Whitetail in the province" two years later. In 2004, he was chasing another big one, however had to settle for a nice mule deer. In six straight years of hunting with THA, Tim has harvested 8 P&Y deer and will be returning again in 2005.

These are predominantly private land hunts on working ranches where we utilize horses, ATVs, 4x4s and a lot of walking, depending on the location and style of the hunt, as well as the physical condition of our hunting guests.
